Monday Morning - Still Coming Down

Bloodied, bruised, battered and wondering. It's the state of the program this Monday morning. Here's to it not being so in six weeks. A man can hope.

If you could make changes now what would you do - you can't fire/hire/recruit?

I have a good suggestion for the offense. Pat Dye when he was head coach at Auburn initiated "The Perfect Play" at practice for the offense. They would practice the play until it was "bread and butter"....Vince Lombardi had a variation of this as well.

The uninspired play of the offense is clearly to blame. One sack is a good rush. Two sacks is a fluke, three sacks is your offensive line, four sacks its your quarterback not picking up the blitz, five sacks...

I know AJ Greene was out of the game, but the offense is not one man alone. I know our quarterback is "green" but he does have the skills to lead a drive when it counts. All in all, it comes down to one man and that guy sits high above the field, and his name ain't God.

My one worry, if we went the 'Perfect Play' route, is that it would be a play-action pass
